There has been little for the Anglers to enthuse over in the past week. The Private Beat did produce a fish early in the week and Beat One has also produced. One can only feel a huge sympathy for the Anglers who have so looked forward to their week to be confronted with a drought that few have ever witnessed. I had made mention of the numbers of fish in the Estuary and they too, now seem to have given up hope for the present. and gone back out to deeper water. The trout Anglers also suffered in the week with very strong winds which prevented them from taking the boats out.
