The first day of Autumn, and still the drought shows no sign of relenting. I am sure that, weather wise, this has been the strangest year ever on record. One can only feel massive sympathy for those who have been looking forward to their fishing trip this season, and also the Ghillies who have to try to make their visit enjoyable, even under these almost impossible circumstances.
