Monday was the only day of the week when fishing was possible as, thereafter, we had a lot of snow which then turned to ice and made much of the river unfishable. Reflecting on another very good turn out of fish on the redds----my Son Jamie saw fish spawning in Burns some fifteen miles above Loch More. Once again, this proves just how very healthy a river the Thurso is.
