It has been a very strange week with fish taking readily on occasion and then, with no apparent change in conditions, ignoring the fly for many hours. What I have been very aware of this year is the number of fish in the late teens of pounds and also a lot in the late twenties of pounds. from what I hear, this has also been the case on other rivers.
