Report: Despite some very difficult conditions we are still taking fish almost daily. Added to that, is the good numbers of fish that we see entering the system. There are those who have articulated the view that, despite the fact that there are no nets along our coastline, this will make no difference to the numbers of fish entering our rivers. Everyone is entitled to their point of view----------- even one as ludicrous as this.
Another point I would make to the disbelievers ! I firmly believe that we have seen an upsurge in the numbers of bigger fish being caught is because, these big fish would be leaders of the shoals and, as such, would be the first to be caught up in these nets.
