A decent rise in river levels saw a good number of fish enter the system, and many of these gained access to Loch More via the fish ladder. This, being the Spring component of the river`s stock, means that these fish are now in a place of sanctuary which bodes well for future Spring runs.
The rise in water levels saw the fish racing through beat one but the Private beat enjoyed much success.
What has been an outstanding feature of this year has been the lack of any fish having any marks from nets. Now, I wonder why this should be!!
