A difficult week for the rods this week, with only 21 fish taken, it really has really been a repeat of last week. The river is full of fish, but they are very reluctant to take. We had some rain which gave us a very small rise up to 9 inches, but it did cool the river down a bit and the following day we took 7 fish. There is no doubt we need a really good spate to bring the river back to life and bring in the fish that are still in the estuary. |
