The Thurso River - Caithness

Report:	It has been a hard week with only 27 fish for the week. The fish are there but are reluctant to take. I think every method has been used along with every fly that has been created. Small flies in the fastest water have caught fish as has two fish falling to a BIG red snelda fish very close to the bottom. We are starting to see a number of fresh fish waiting in the estuary to run the river. Given fresh water we will have some good sport, but at the moment we will struggle.
