A week of two halves. Although we had very good water at the beginning of the the week, it was spoilt by wall to wall sunshine which really put the fish down. For the first three days we only managed 17 fish. The wind and cloud returned for the last three days and we took a more respectable 54 fish, giving us a weekly total of 71 fish. Overnight rain on Friday gave us a lift in the river to 16 inches and this has kept the loch topped up so we will have reasonable water for next week. |
