Notwithstanding late returns,we took an excellent 241 fish for the week, We had a real mix of weather, we were nearly blown off the river on Monday a good rise on the Wednesday and a full spate on Saturday. The first rise brought in a very good run of top quality grilse, in the 5-7lb class. Also a number of bigger fish were taken, with 3 around the 20lb mark. The river for next week will be in good shape, with the river dropping back nicely.
There was an error in last week report, the July total was incorrectly entered as 921. It was in fact 957. The first two days of July were omitted. Apologies. |
