Notwithstanding late returns,we took an excellent 241 fish for the week, We had a real mix of weather, we were nearly blown off the river on Monday a good rise on the Wednesday and a full spate on Saturday. The first rise brought in a very good run of top quality grilse, in the 5-7lb class. Also a number of bigger fish were taken, with 3 around the 20lb mark. The river for next week will be in good shape, with the river dropping back nicely. |
