With 101 fish for the week, it was quieter than the previous weeks, but still a good total. The fish seemed to be in a strange mood on some days, with beats producing one day and not the next, but that is fishing. The grilse seemed to be running hard and we were mainly picking them up in the faster water. The July total was 921 fish, which set against our 5 year average of 262, shows what an incredible run of fish we had. |
