24 fish for the week, which was down on previous weeks, but given the conditions it was a fair result. It seems to be a pattern at the moment with bright days at the beginning of the week, and cloudy conditions towards the end of the week. 17 of the fish were caught in the last two days. The river has been steady at 6 inches, which is still enough to pull a few fresh fish in. The promised rain arrived, but only enough to give us another inch! Looking forward, we could do with more rain, but as long as we get good cloud cover and a breeze we will pick away. |
