Well, what can I say. It has been an exceptional week, with 93 fish landed. In the 93 fish we have had a few grilse and a number of fish in the high teens, with a number of big fish being lost. The river has been steady at 8 inches for the week, but cloudy and windy conditions have meant that the fish have continued to run. Thursday our best day of the week saw 28 fish taken with 10 from beat 12 (not loch Beg), 7 from both beats 2 and 4. And congratulations to two rods who caught every day and finished with 25 Salmon for their week. Looking to next week, it looks a bit brighter earlier in the week and I think the conditions will be a bit more of a challenge. |
