The water eventually arrived on October 1st and was very coloured for 48 hours--------in fact it is only today ( Saturday) that it has been in good nick and we took 66 fish. A young Lady called Sarah Eames bagged her first stag yesterday and followed that with her first salmon today on beat four and this despite having Geordie Doull as her Ghillie. Another season ends and i was shocked to discover that we were only 11 fish short of the thousand. |
