The Thurso River - Caithness

Report:	Too much water! Too much bloody water !! Of course I am jesting. We lost much of the first three days of the week with the much needed rainfall and in that time, the only success was had by Youthful inexperience and by old age and experience. The former was thirteen year old Edward ( good name) Hancock who took a fish from beat seven and the latter by the ageless John Moorhouse taking one from beat eleven. Mr. Moorhouse first visited the Thurso in 1914--------- to celebrate his fiftieth birthday !!! I think that a few members of that Party now owe me some dosh. If the river continues to level off I anticipate a good week ahead.
