The Thurso River - Caithness

Report:	It has been a fairly chilly week with the river dropping away but we had another fish from beat seven today. Over the past ten days we have had the track ( from the main road to the Bridge) on beat two upgraded and also the lower part of the same track. The track on lower beat nine has also had a lot of work done on it to allow a "road" car easy access. The upper Tormsdale Pool has had a lot of work done on the left bank which was beginning to erode badly and the Upper Sauce Pool on beat eleven has been sorted along with the Stall Pool on the same beat which suffered badly with the huge spate over Christmas. We also had the Parramore Pool slightly titivated and it really is now a very handsome Pool.
