It has been a fairly slow week following two remarkably good ones. I have found that fish can become a little "difficult" at this time of year ( a bit like a woman for twelve months of the year !!).
Salmon seem to need a little boost of fresh water more regularly toward the back end of a season. Despite this, with early morning and late evening forays, there were some reasonable numbers of sea-liced grilse caught.
