The Thurso River - Caithness

Report:	The weather has dictated our workload this week and that has been to keep water running in the Hatchery. With daytime temperatures of minus 5% falling to minus 17* Celsius overnight it has presented us with many problems. A big part of the problem has been semi- submerged ice flowing downriver and affecting the intake pipe. Looking at the forecast for the immediate future, there will be no let-up in the frosty conditions
