The Thurso River - Caithness

Report:	We finally managed to get to the spawning fords on Wednesday only to find the redds inhabited almost solely by male fish. What was incredible was the number of these fish and also the number which were in excess of twenty pounds. It is our intention to try again in the latter part of next week when I am confident that we will do well.
