The Thurso River - Caithness

Report:	First of all I really must apologise for the lack of a report last week----------I was so busy entering catches in the record book!!!! We are continuing to fish very well even though the river is now running at eight inches on the gauge. The quality of fish is really good with Malcolm Walder returning fish of twenty, two fifteens and a thirteen pounder. It has become very cold again (bloody global warming) and it is rapidly pulling the river levels down.
