The Thurso River - Caithness

Report:	The bitterly cold weather has been turned on it`s head and we are now experiencing very hot clammy conditions. We are still taking a few fish but the river is dropping away very quickly. An early run of grilse have been seen running the system. Most of the Luncheon Huts have been painted with Cuprinol and the old stile has been replaced by the Braehour Burn on beat six--------mainly thanks to the skills of our "Pet Joiner", Jim Cameron. We were also having leakage problems with the Felt Roof on the hut on beat six and the same man put a new corrugated roof on for us.
