Despite bitterly cold winds blowing from all points of the compass we have enjoyed another very good week with fish being taken throughout the system.
I spoke in an earlier report of the Beg boat. I have to tell you that she has had a serious relapse and has had to be replaced with an all singing alll dancing boat which was introduced to the Loch on Monday morning. Although "Old Betsy" has benn ruled unfit for her present job we feel that, after thirty years of service , she should still have a role to play. The Ghillies have suggested that she could easily fill the role of the present river superintendent!!!!!
Mark MacDonald has the distinction of being the first Ghille to net a fish from the new boat.
We are toying with the idea that we should "name" the new boat. Any suggestions?
