The Thurso River - Caithness

Report:	In the course of the week all of the Luncheon Huts were given another coating of Cuprinol and the Hut on Beat 2 has been newly lined. The access for Beat two from the main road has been improved with the gateway now set back some twenty yards so that a vehicle is now off the road completely whilst opening the gate. On the fishing front things have been pretty dim with the usual problem of bright sunshine and cold easterly winds. However, things have brightened up somewhat in the past couple of days with softer winds and we have had a little rain today which helped produce a few fish.
