The Thurso River - Caithness

Report:	As we feared the cold easterly wind brought us to a standstill during the week. With the early running fish accessing Loch More due to the constant high water we seem to have a lack of fish in the main system although there was evidence of a fresh run of fish arriving on Friday. Father and Son team Alfie and Kevin Sinclair were rewarded for their efforts with a fish each from beat four. Looking ahead, it would appear that the easterly wind is still with us until at least Tuesday and I would have to suggest that pickings will remain slim.
