it would appear that the latter part of the report got chopped off. I had earlier identified that we hadn`t had a fish yet. I then went on to identify an agreement that I had reached with my Employers at the end of last season which meant that a rotation(two rods) would be held back each week to allow me some "wriggle room". I felt that this was needed to allow me to give an angler a change of beat for whatever reason. But it was mainly for the Spring of the year that i had asked for this as there are some beats that the early running fish just race through.
In midweek at a Meeting I was informed that a lot of Anglers had been turned away in September.
To those angletrs who were turned away-----my profuse apologies. The fact is that, by August /September, ALL of the beats are full of fish, hence no need for a change of beat.
For those who are still looking for some Thurso fishing in September there are now two rods available each week. My advice to you is to contact Liz (01356 628620) very quickly as they are certain to go quickly as soon as the word is out. |
