It has been another fairly quiet week. We are putting a new stile at the Well Pool on upper Beat two and whilst we were dismantling the old one I counted over fifty kelts jumping about. The new stilecwill be in place before the start of the Season.
MANDY:: I have had a lot of people contacting me when they heard that Mandy at the Hotel had a suspected heart-attack. I have spoken to her Mother, Miranda who has given me permission to let you know how she is. Mandy had been in Wick Hospital for the past week where she was coming along fine. Unfortunately, she took a rather bad chest infection and she was tranferred to Inverness. They now have the infection under control and, although she is very tired, is doing well. I will keep you updated on Mandy`s progress |
