It had been a fairly uneventful week until the early hours of this (Saturday) morning when we had some breezy conditions to contend with. I recorded some gusts of 111mph and there was a constant wind of 90 mph. We suffered power cuts which interfered with the running of the hatchery pump and this caused some air locks in the system and I can tell you that it was bllooody cold sorting it out The forecast is giving gales for tonight as well but, given their accuracy, they are probably predicting last night`s weather.
