The Thurso River - Caithness

Report:	The rain hasn`t stopped since the season ended and the river has been running high although we have not had a fully fledged spate. The Hatchery is set-up and ready to go and the Spawning nets have had their annual make over. I am afraid that i have made something of a slip up with regard to the propose new access to Lower Beat 2. The procees started some three years ago and I thought that all of the small problems had been ironed out and we were OK. Unfortunately, there was an oversight on my part which may mean that we will have to wait a further year before this can go ahead. I will keep you updated on this.
