The Thurso River - Caithness

Report:	We had another lift in water height again on Tuesday but this only brought the marker back up to elelven inches. We feel that the river needs a proper scour-out before the main body of fish will come in. Charlie Bond caught his first ever salmon on beat three and added another three to that before the day was out, Julie Stewart had her first Thurso salmon and Mr G. Small had half a dozen for his week. The forecast rain still eludes us-------it no longer is a surprise.
