We had some rain on Wednesday which brought the river level up to 11 inches on the Halkirk gauge. Unfortunately, the rise in level came from the Little River and not Loch More which means that it will drop off rather quickly. However, some good sport has been had. Father and Son team Pat and David Quinn had ten fish with David taking his first ever salmon. Another first was young Tom King who had his first ever salmon on beat four and followed this with four on beat two the next day. We have had almost 80 fish since the rise in height. |
