The drought continues. I am now convinced that our Members of Parliament start their working life off as weather forecasters------telling lies and talking rubbish.
Despite these poor conditions the inimitable Nigel Griffiths took nine fish during his three day visit. This Gentleman has an affinity with the Thurso which I have only witnessed with three other anglers whose names I shall not mention-----but you are one of them Kenny.
On Saturday morning this majestical feat was somewhat eclipsed when Yvonne Moorhouse, on her first visit to the Thurso, hooked, played and landed her first ever salmon. Hopefully, this will be the first of many. |
