It has been a fairly unpleasant week with the river height bouncing around and severly cold winds which ,apart from really hardy Anglers like Pat Nicol and Geoff Hendstridge. has seen the river virtually unfished.
I thank everyone who responded to the barbless hooks debate. In never was and never will be our intention to make this compulsory. We have never felt a need to TELL our Anglers what to do-------hence no compulsory catch and release. But I would like to lay a bet that, as many, if not more fish are returned on the Thurso than elsewhere. |
