The Thurso River - Caithness

Report:	There has been a lot of concern that the spate of October 26th 2006 may have caused some harm to the juvenile population. We have now completed a fairly exhaustive Electro-Fishing operation and I am delighted to be able to report that the Juvenile stock in the Thurso is in a very healthy state. We are at present setting up the Hatchery to receive some eggs in Mid November.
