We have enjoyed yet another good week. A local angler who has fished the river for forty five years told me that he has never seen so many fishing entering the system as he did on Wednesday/Thursday of the past week. This must bode well for spawning.I think that , unless we have more rainfall, these fish will go a bit "dour" over the next couple of before the pre spawning aggression sets in. |
