The good fishing has continued throughout the week despite having some very "dour" periods. Thirteen year old Max Lough had his first ever salmon on beat three and, according to Ghillie Pat Nicol, did a tremendous job of playing the fish. Ten year old Alfie Idiens also had his first ever fish from beat four which weighed in at eight pounds.
Photographs of these young gentlemen will appear on the site next week.
Not to be outdone seventy nine year old Ian Morris took his first Thurso salmon from beat ten.
Looking ahead, we have to anticipate continued success. |
