We have enjoyed another good week taking over one hundred fish. The river level has remained constant at twelve inches and there have been good numbers of fish entering the system. Local angler Nat Nicol was on nineteen fish to his own rod this morning----------I suggested that had he employed the services of a Ghillie he might have had some real success!!! John Brown , who has fished the Thurso for nigh on fifty years, had nine fish with one more fishing day left.
If the overhead conditions continue to be kind, I predict another good week ahead. |
