At the end of last weeks report I told you that it was raining but it wouldn`t come to very much as we had very strong winds which tends to blow it away. My Wife of thirty seven years has a saying which she often uses to me which goes " It is not often that you are right my little sugar plum but you are WRONG AGAIN". This was very true last weekend because we ended up with a spate.
All of the beats produced fish in the course of the week. Henry Tudor, who has been visiting the Thurso for many years , had six to his rod, Leo Cincicolo, on his first ever days fishing, had three fish from beat nine and Bob Sedgwick has ten fish for his visit so far. The grilse have started to trickle in in the latter part of the week. Finally, it is raining again--------!!!! |
