It has been a very difficult week with the river dropping away quite rapidly. We had a nice sea-liced fish from beat three in midweek and Kevin Sinclair, who ten days ago had a brace of sea-liced 12 pounders on beat two, has just phoned to say that he has had two small sea-liced grilse on beat thirteen. We are seeing fish begin to arrive in the Estuary in good numbers ----but we desperately need some more rain soon. |
