The Thurso River - Caithness

Report:	The atrocious weather continues with the sun shining out of a cloudless sky. I can normally find something positive to say about fishing prospects--------but I am floundering. The river is incredibly low and there is no hint of any rain. We have been seeing fish arriving in the Estuary and one or two have run the river but we really do desperately need some rain. Today (Saturday) we have erected rather posh new Luncheon Huts on Loch Beg and Beat nine---------this is to give you protection from the sun.
