We ended tha month of February with four salmon. I did a ten year average for the month of February and came up with 2.6 fish. At present we are strenuosly investigating to find who caught the .6!!
We have had a couple of fish during the past week. We had another sea- liced fish from Gerston Pool yesterday but the main plaudits must go to Pat Nicol who, on one of the coldest days that I can remember, was duly rewarded for his bravery with a lovely ten pounder from the Snatch Pool on beat eleven.
The route of the new track which will take us down to the Luncheon Hut at the Mill Stream on beat nine has been agreed upon and approved and work will commence very shortly. To compliment the new road we will be putting a new, bigger,Lunchen Hut on the site |
