The Thurso River - Caithness

Report:	We had another five foot spate early in the week but today (Saturday) the river is in perfect order and I fully expect a few fish to be taken in the next few days. We continue to catch kelts in large numbers with a lot of them being in the late teens of pounds. The proposed new track which will take us down to the Luncheon Hut on beat nine took a massive step forward in the course of the week with the Farmer giving his blessing to the route.
