Report: The river has continued to spate throughout the week so I would have to think that it is unlikely that we will manage to collect any eggs for the Hatchery. This does not present any problem as there are many hundreds of spawning pairs on the redds. Fish have been identified on the redds both in the main stem of the river and in the Glutt water up to ten miles above Loch More.
The movement of stone/ gravel that I spoke about a couple of weeks ago will definitely change some of the pools. Here, on beat four, I can tell you that both the Comlifoot Pool and the Manse Pool look much more attractive to cast a fly in to-----we will have to wait to see if the salom like the changes.
