First of all I would like to say a big THANK YOU to all of the local Anglers who have stayed loyal to the Thurso despite all of the early uncertainty and also a big THANK YOU to the many new faces who have already booked for next year. Now that the crawling is over, I will tell you a little bit about how the fishing has been.
We have had our best total since 1990 which includes the 118 fish that were taken for the two and half days fishing in October among which were a sea-liced fish taken on beat four by Mr Keith Webster, a twenty two pounder from beat nine at the hands of Kenny MacDonald and a twenty one pounder from beat two by broken down Ghillie Dougie Reid.
I normally cease these reports when the fishing ends, but I have been so impressed with the concern and support from Anglers during the past year that I feel that I should keep you updated on repairs, Hatchery work-----when Dougie and I get falling down drunk etc. |
