Never at any time have the returns felt spectacular but when I tallied up we have almost 200 fish for the week. Given that the Wednesday, Thursday blew a terrific gale and renderd most beats unfishable, the result makes good reading. As ever, Nigel Griffiths produced more than his fair share with his best tipping the scales at twenty one pounds, James Wills had his first salmon on his Birthday and June Walker also put a few in the book.
Water heights are excellent so we are hoping for decent overhead conditions. |
