Report: We continue to struggle greatly. The gauge at Halkirk is reading 3 inches and as I write on Saturday afternoon the air temperature 92.5 F.
In midweek a couple of very intrepid anglers ventured on to beat two and waited for cloud and breeze to come along and were rewarded for their patience with four fish, the best of which weighed in at sixteen pounds.
Until the rain comes we are going to struggle more and more.
