The river has shrunken even more and prospects for anglers are very poor. Crazily, in midweek, Nigel Griffiths took a sea-liced fish from Loch More and one has to ask the question WHY? WHY would a fish run over wet stones for twenty five miles--------it could be that it saw Dougie Reid on the Harbour wall and thought "if I don`t get out of here that crazy bugger who is looking at me in that "seal-like" way might jump in and have me--------so toodlepip to Thurso Bay"
We really do need rain very soon or I can see another 1976. |
