We did eventually see some rain by midweek but nothing like the amount forecast. The breeze has continued to be cold whatever direction that at it blows from. Jim Pirie paid a fleeting visit and was rewarded with three fish, Mr R. Coller had a brace on his first visit to the Thurso and Nigel Griffiths and Geoff Badland shared twelve fish for their week. During the week Mr Griffiths took his 200th Thurso salmon-------and then went on to add several more to his tally.
Looking ahead, I am fairly cofident that we will pick away next week-------but I so long for the wind to lose that cold bite. |
