The Thurso River - Caithness

Report:	It has been an extremely difficult week with cold, biting winds and blue brassy skies. Jamie Cameron had a brace on beat two early in the morning and Peter Ahluwalia had two on Loch Beg immediately after breakfast. Other than that we struggled with just the odd fish being taken. We need a definite change in conditions before the fish will start taking freely once again. I spent a very pleasant afternoon in the boat on Loch Beg completely surrounded by migrating smolts popping up everywhere.
